Adjustable forward and reverse time/speed delivers
a clean cut from the dispensing cycle.
The
5101497
Controller supplies material
pressure to the barrel feeding the
Auger Valve. It is adjusted
by a regulator and pressure gage.
The digital timer can be set
at intervals from 0.01 seconds –
99.99 hours.
When initiated, the controller
opens the air solenoid, allowing constant pressure to the fluid to keep
constant flow to the valve, while activating the motor.
To feed any IDS valve,
choose from our dispensing syringes, (to
feed thin to medium materials in very small shots) our
single cartridges, (for medium
to thicker materials in smaller shots or beads) or for large volume
capacity, order one of our
reservoirs (for thin to medium materials) or one of our
pail dispenser units, for thicker
materials.
As the name suggests, a screw (or auger) drive is set in
motion, carrying the fluid with it to be deposited.
Both the air and the motor are on during
the time the signal is present. While the solenoid delivers the pneumatic
power to fill the threads of the auger with the fluid, the servo delivers
the power to turn the thread. When the thread turns clockwise, the fluid is
delivered forward; when reversed, the fluid is drawn back, giving complete
control over the dispensing process. When the signal is interrupted the unit
goes to rest. The flow and the rotation stop until the signal is once again
present. |
