The powerful, economic Guidance Controller is embedded within the compact frame of the robot structure. The drive requires no maintenance and has fewer parts than other designs that incorporate belts, cables, ball screws, etc. Linear encoders provide up to 0.001mm resolution and the IDS PointFinder optional vision system unleashes the full potential of the high resolution encoders.

The Servo Cartesian robot comes ready to use from the crate - just plug it into an AC outlet and an Ethernet port and go to work. The built in dispense heads, embedded controller, harness and pneumatic lines mean there is no controller integration, no harnesses to rig, and no extra controller cabinet to buy. The results are fast set-up, small footprint, no integration spend and an extremely low capital cost. The Servo Cartesian robot’s Guidance Controller contains an embedded web server allowing access without the need for a local PC, and your applications and diagnostic information, can be accessed allowing collaborative development and fast customer service to IDS customers worldwide.

The controller uses a powerful language, like Visual Basic.NET syntax and can be configured using Ethernet as the communications interface, dropped into PC  based systems, preserving legacy software.

Optional Free Range Programming

Simply set the robot into "Free Range Mode" then manually set the dispense tip into the position you require, enter the point on the built in Free Range teach panel and repeat until you have programmed your robot. Fast, simple and no learning curve, no commands to learn and no expensive teach pendant is necessary.
