The ‘barrier’ cartridge has a
foiled mixer dasher held in place inside the cartridge with a cinch tape on
the outside of the cartridge. The resin and hardener are separated by the
foil. This cartridge is best for ratios of 1:1 to 10:1 parts-by-volume.
The incorporation of an injection rod in this cartridge system allows for a
third component such as a pigment or filler.
The ‘injection’ system consists of
the main cartridge being filled with the resin and an injection rod that
contains the hardener. This cartridge system is best suited for a 10:1 (or
less) parts-by-volume/weight ratio. Its operation consists of a ramrod
being pushed against the rod piston, compressing the material and causing
the rod to rupture, injecting the curative into the resin. The two
materials are then mixed to a homogenous mixture.
Mixing of both systems can be done manually or with an
electric or pneumatic mixer. Dispensing is accomplished through manual or
pneumatic guns or stand-mounted units using a variety of nozzles and
needles.

remember:
When using a
pneumatic
dispenser (air driven) you can change
dot size by applying
different air pressure, time settings and tip sizes. The
pneumatic dispensers we offer have a variety of options to fit your exact needs;
untimed, timed, digital, analog, even multi-shot units to dispense multiple
shots of the same size.
Increasing either the air pressure, time duration
or tip size will increase the dot size, while decreasing either the air pressure, time
duration or tip size will decrease the dot size.
Thicker, more viscous liquids, such as pastes
or greases, will require either more pressure, a longer time
setting or a larger size tip.
Thinner, less viscous liquids, such as
Cyanoacrylates or thinners, will require less pressure, shorter time or a
smaller tip size. Higher pressure and/or short time cycle
increases the dispensing speed and provides a higher output.
What is the thickness of your material?
