IntelliSpense™ Manual Syringes
are complete units, ready to use. As shown below,
they include syringe barrels (1CC to 60CC),
plungers (push rods
inside the barrel) and pistons (black
neoprene piece that the push rod pushes
to move the material forward).
There is a lubricant used in the barrel,
(PDMS), which is
Polydimethylsiloxane,
a silicone. Manual Syringes are
shipped assembled.
If you require a silicone free syringe, use pneumatic Syringes
with an inexpensive Manual Syringe Gun.
These lightweight.
inexpensive plastic guns use industry standard
Pneumatic Syringes.
The syringe gun
is
not for use with manual syringes, as it has
its own plunger rod and adapter head built in.
All
IDS Luer Slip and Luer Lock Manual and Pneumatic Syringes have
industry-standard Luer Nipples, which are 5/32“ OD and 1/8“ ID.
IntelliSpense Needles will be functional with all
IntelliSpense™
Syringes,
Manual, or Pneumatic, or any
standard Luer Lock™ or Luer Slip Syringe.

Pneumatic Syringes for industrial
use... guaranteed silicone and chloride free
and designed to work with
IDS and most industry standard
pneumatic dispensing equipment.
Please note that the
industrial syringes used in IDS dispensers are available in
3, 5, 10, 30 and 55cc/ml
sizes. The
syringe pistons for the 30cc/ml and 55cc/ml
are the same; the rest are made for the specific syringe size.
IDS needles and tips
are luer lock threaded and will work with any size syringe.
Manual Syringes are different from air driven pistons; choose them from
the
manual syringe section only. If using
solder paste or filled material, a pneumatic
(air driven) syringe dispenser has a tendency to separate.
Restrict use to 10cc/ml tubes, three quarters full, or use a
Screw Valve
for cost cutting results on materials.

1 cc is equivalent to 1 ml. 1
teaspoonful is equivalent to 5 ml (or 5cc). 3 teaspoonfuls are equivalent to 1 tablespoonful. 1 tablespoonful is
equivalent to 15 ml (or 15cc). 1 ounce is equivalent to 30 ml (or 30cc).
